Trinity House Hotel Gala
A historic sculpture featuring classical columns, horses and angels, was transformed into a 3D canvas and painted with striking projections, viewed by a live audience at Trinity House in London for one special evening.

Problem
Before the show AVC Live required a visualisation of the projection mapping; exposing in the pre-production stage any technical challenges, presenting creative designs to the client quickly and clearly, and seeing from the audience viewpoint the show from start to end.
Solution
We supported AVC Live in delivering 3D models, 2D templates, projector studies and a Disguise project. First we retopologised the high-poly model to produce a low-poly mesh, and second we UV mapped the mesh to produce a canvas for the content team.
Delivery
Over the four week pre-production period we delivered the render pipeline engineering; AfterEffects packages, Previz scenes, Disguise projects and projection mapping the sculpture on-site. The show was viewed by a live audience for one special evening.
