The Pope’s Exorcist

We supported High Res in delivering The Pope’s Exorcist to cinemas by providing pre-production services and on-site expertise.

Julius Avery directs a supernatural horror thriller starring Russell Crowe, shooting a sequence of driving plates in Wickmore’s Ardmore Studios over a one week period. Plates were mapped onto LED screens surrounding the car stage and virtual lighting was composited on-set. In 2023 the feature film was released by Sony Interactive Entertainment generating $77 million worldwide.
